Dr. Stephen White’s White’s Dental Group in Cleveland, Ohio, has been sued by a man who says he was forced to have his teeth removed after his dentist had an argument with him.
According to a lawsuit filed Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Cincinnati, White’s dental practice in the Cleveland suburb of Canton is named after the late Dr. White.
In February 2018, a man named William L. Linns, a licensed dentist in Ohio, filed a complaint with the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, alleging that Linn was denied dental care and that he suffered emotional distress.
In the complaint, Linn said that Littman’s refusal to provide dental care to him and other patients was a violation of the American Association of Dental Surgeons’ Standards of Care.
“The ADA requires that dental procedures be performed by trained and competent professionals with proper qualifications,” Linn wrote.
“Linn failed to meet those standards, and the practice was in violation of these standards.”
Linn said he filed the complaint after White, a dental hygienist at the clinic, refused to provide Linn with dental care, claiming that the dentist had called him “f***ing a f***ing Jew,” according to the lawsuit.
White has denied the claims, saying that Linds “never referred to Linn as a Jew,” and that Linsons “personal and professional relationship with Linn has been exemplary and positive.”
The lawsuit, filed by the Ohio Civil Rights Commission, says that Lisons actions caused Linn to suffer “physical and emotional harm.”
Littman, who is white, has not commented publicly on the lawsuit, but he did speak to Fox News on Tuesday, saying: “I believe this is a case where I have a duty to protect my patients and protect my clients.
I think it’s important for us to take a stand against the hatred and violence that people can perpetrate against people who are different.”
In a statement, Littmann said that the lawsuit is “absolutely false” and that “there is no history of Dr. Linsman harming any of his patients.”
“I have never been involved in any type of abuse,” Littmans statement read.
“The lawsuit is completely false and unfounded.
It’s very unfortunate that people think it has anything to do with me.”
White has said that he was never involved in a physical confrontation with Littmen.
Littmans lawyers have said that their client believes the complaint was filed as a means of retaliation against him, according to Fox.
Litt’s attorney has also said that White has not had any involvement in the incident.
Linn has also been sued in the past for racial discrimination.
In 2014, a lawsuit was filed against him by a former patient who alleged that he had denied Linn services in the previous years, including when Linn performed a procedure on his daughter’s face.
In 2015, Linsmann sued Linn for racial and gender discrimination.
In 2016, Litmans lawyer, Richard C. Rizzo, was accused of making racial slurs in a deposition.
Lizzman has said he is not the type to engage in racial profiling.
