NEW YORK — The New York City medical examiner’s office on Friday announced the death of a man who tested positive for coronaviruses.
The unidentified man died Wednesday at the Jackson Memorial Hospital in Brooklyn after suffering from a pulmonary embolism, according to the office.
He died of natural causes, according the office, which said his cause of death was unclear.
The man, identified by the office as a 44-year-old man with a history of pulmonary disease, was pronounced dead at 4:47 p.m.
Wednesday at Jackson Memorial, said the office in a statement.
The office did not provide additional details.
