You must be a residentIf you are a resident of the state of Idaho, you will need to be a registered dental practitioner.
This means you are required to be registered with the state to perform certain dental procedures, such as filling teeth, providing root canals, or performing dental implants.
In order to register to do dental work, you must have a minimum of 6 years of experience, or more if you have additional training.
If that’s not the case, you are considered a low-level dental practitioner or a non-registered practitioner.
If not, you can be dismissed from the practice.

You are required by law to take a standardized testYou can also register as a registered practitioner if you:You must take a test to become a registered dentist.
If a dentist does not take the test, you won’t be able take it again.
You will also be unable to get a license to practice dentistry from the state.
You have to pass the standardized test to get registered.3.
You don’t need to show proof of education or trainingYou are required not to show that you have taken the standardized tests for:The standardized test is also required to qualify for a state dental license.
However, you don’t have to take the standardized exams if you can’t pass the standard exams.
You only have to show you have passed the standardized exam if you are not registered as a dentist.4.
You may not practice in the same townYou are not allowed to practice in a town that has a population of less than 100,000 people.
If the population of the town is 100,001 or less, you cannot practice in that town.
In that case, if you don.t have a licensed dentist, you would need to practice elsewhere in Idaho.5.
You do not need to fill teethYou can only fill a dental implant, root canal, or fill tooth without having to fill a tooth.
You need to get permission from the board of dentistry to do that.6.
You cannot fill denturesIf you need a dental procedure or fill a denture, you’ll need to apply for the permission of the board before filling the mouth.
You’ll also need to take an oral examination.
You won’t need permission to fill the mouth if you take the dental examinations.
You will need a permit to practice if you fill denture procedures or fill dentions.
The permit is required to practice a dentistry practice.
The board will issue permits to practicing dentists to practice without a permit.
The Board of Dentistry will issue you a permit if you want to practice, but it will only be for a limited time.
